Chef Seigo Fuchigami Takes Home Gold as Southeast Asia\u2019s Top Chefs Compete in Manila for World Pasta Day<\/strong><\/p>

Manila, Philippines \u2014 October 25, 2024<\/em> \u2014 For the first time ever, the Philippines took center stage in the culinary world as it proudly hosted the Barilla Pasta Championship Asia Finals <\/strong>on World Pasta Day. In a thrilling finale, Chef Seigo Fuchigami<\/strong> emerged as the Champion<\/strong> with his inspired dish, Sublimation of Climate<\/em>.<\/strong> Chef Fuchigami\u2019s dish captivated the judges with its innovation and technical mastery, securing his place at the top. Chef Terence Chuah<\/strong> earned Silver<\/strong> with his rich Braised Duck Leg Pasta with Hazelnuts, Lemon Zest, and Marsala Cream Sauce<\/em>, while Chef Jimmy Loi<\/strong> took Bronze<\/strong> with his bold and flavorful Har Mee Spaghetti<\/em>, a homage to Malaysian cuisine.<\/p>
